How Does it Work?

When calling out to a mobile from an office phone the call has to be routed to a mobile network operator who then carries the call to the mobile (an Interconnect).

This InterConnect attracts a charge which is usually around 11p to 14p for a standard office line tariff.

The GSM Gateway automatically detects the call as it goes out, and re-routes it onto the mobile network.

Mobile operators offer tariffs which allow low cost, inclusive minutes calls to ANY network

The GSM Gateway also allows office PCs to send SMS text messages thus offering the opportunity to further the scope of saving call costs.

EWC’s GSM Gateway products are connected in line with your existing telephone equipment and no programming or changes are required to the PABX.
